Dr Ella Henry has an academic background in Sociology, Māori Studies and Management Studies. Dr Henry has been actively involved in research on and advocacy for Māori broadcasting. She is a research leader in the National Science Challenge: Building better homes, towns and cities, and involved with research on Māori leadership and decision-making, and the contribution of Māori business networking to self-determination.
Dr Jason Mika

Dr Jason Paul Mika is a senior lecturer in the School of Management, Massey University in Palmerston North and co-director of Te Au Rangahau, Māori Business & Leadership Research Centre. His research interests include indigenous entrepreneurship, management and methodologies. Jason specialises in Māori enterprise development and Māori organisational development. Jason provides consulting services as an independent management and associate of GHA. Jason’s strengths are in developing strategies, plans and policies to help Māori enterprises and Māori organisations succeed. He was raised in Rotorua and has completed consultancy assignments for Māori organisations locally and across the motu.

Ana Morrison has held senior roles throughout New Zealand and London, including as a Solicitor for Russell McVeagh, a Legal Counsel for BMC Software, and as the Contracts Manager for Manaaki Ora Trust. She is a member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand and a recent graduate of the Institute of Directors’ Mentoring for Diversity programme. Ana is an Alumni of New Zealand’s Global Women Breakthrough Leaders Programme and the US Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Programme. She has governance positions across the region, including as a Ministerial Appointee to Lakes District Health Board, trustee on the Te Arawa Partnership Board – Te Tatau o Te Arawa, and is a trustee and former Chair of successful iwi commercial entity Te Kotahitanga o Ngāti Whakaue Assets Trust. She is also an Advisory Group member for Sprout AgriTech.
