The Trust are extremely grateful to Te Puni Kōkiri who are a major sponsor for WIBF 2018 through He Kai Kei Aku Ringa (HKKAR).
HKKAR is the Crown-Māori Economic Growth Partnership and national Māori economic development strategy. Established in 2012, it provides a vision for a productive, innovative, export oriented Māori economy driven by whānau. Literally it means ‘providing food by my own hands’. It has become a metaphor for the resilience and economic self-determination of Māori.
E RERE represents the five goals of He kai kei aku ringa:
Te Puni Kōkiri and the Ministry for Business innovation and employment co-lead He kai kei aku ringa. For more information about He kai kei aku ringa, please visit: https://www.erere.maori.nz/
